The Redfords always like to pay particular attention to the set lists for every wedding. The first dance is so important as it signals the start of the evening entertainment by gatherring all the guest into one place to witness this most intimate moment. It then allows every one to try the dance floor for themselves in a loosely formal way when the band continues the mood through the next few numbers.
The Redfords will tailor their sets to make everyone feel part of the evening by paying attention to the demographics of the guest.
Its pretty normal to finish the evening on a high by including some of the well known sing a longs like Sex on Fire', '500 miles' or 'Chelsea dagger'
You may think that plenty of lighting space is exactly what you need to dance in to have a good time? If you are ball room dancing perhaps but certianly not at a wedding. Take the lights down low add some colour and restrict the dance floor is the recipe for success!!
We dont always have control over this element of the entertainment, never the less it is extremly important to get it right.
